Chris Cahall Agency of American Family Insurance is seeking talented, community-minded, and outgoing individuals to join their agency team. As a Sales Specialist, you will wear many hats, including consultative selling techniques to attract, retain and sell insurance products, while ensuring excellent customer experiences. Our clients will rely on you for honest, expert advice and in turn, you will use your skills as a proactive problem-solver to identify insurance protection products that meet their unique needs. You’ll also promote brand awareness through participation in agency and community events.
Qualifications for the position:
• Proactive Sales and Customer Service Experiences
o Positive Customer approach
o Property/Casualty and light commercial Insurance Sales
o Life Insurance Sales
o P&C and commercial Sales Through Brokerage market
• Analytical Skills
• Experience and confidence with software applications including Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer, etc.
• Experience using a wide variety of technology devices and Social media platforms.
• You must have successfully obtained and/or have the ability to maintain the proper insurance licensing to sell, solicit or negotiate insurance products.
• A Valid driver’s license
Working knowledge of insurance concepts and principals with effective personal lines prospecting experience preferred but not required. You’ll work as part of a team in an office setting. The office is open M-F 8A-5P. Evenings and Weekends may be needed for special events occasionally. This position comes with a base pay, plus commission and bonus potential.
